Betfair’s recent $50 million dollar acquisition of TVG Horse Racing Television Network, has grown to be the official TV and online wagering partner of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association and the leading horse racing television channel in the U.S.
Thursday, the gaming network announced that their live horse racing coverage will be broadcasted to SIRIUS XM Radio listeners nationwide.
TVG’s daily programming and commentary of live race calls from North America’s premier race tracks will be combined with SIRIUS XM radio’s exclusive talk shows and live broadcasting of the nations top thoroughbred and harness races.
“We’re very excited to extend TVG’s comprehensive coverage of horse racing’s top events to SIRIUS XM subscribers, giving racing fans across the nation another avenue to follow ‘the Sport of Kings’,” said Gerard Cunningham, president of Betfair US, the world’s largest online sports betting provider “Listeners can tune in to hear all of the in-depth race analysis, handicapping advice and exclusive interviews.”
The broadcasting agreement between the two networks will combine TVG’s television content aired in over 33 million American households daily with more than 18 million SIRIUS XM listeners across the country.
