Florida gambler Bill Seebeck was sure that all his prayers had been answered when the slot machine he had been playing starter flashing it’s light and ringing it’s bells.

That is, until the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa refused to pay him his winnings.

Seebeck, a Daytona Beach, Fla., resident, says he had pumped in about eighty bucks before the machine started going crazy and the display flashed an unbelievable winning number: $166,666,666.65.

After the casino roped off the machine and the crowd that had gathered finally left, Seebeck was told that the Ultimate Party Spin machine had spun out of control, and that the casino was confident there was a malfunction. They sited that Seebeck’s particular slot machine’s top prize was a mere $99,000.

According to the casino’s rules, any machine malfunction will result in a “no-payout” to the gambler.

The casino asked him to agree in writing that the machine had malfunctioned, and that he was not entitled to the payout. Seebeck refused to sign.

“They make you think you won and they make everyone around you think you won,” Seebeck said. “Then… an hour after it they’re saying… we have to investigate this and it’s probably a malfunction.”

Seebeck has hired an attorney.
