All-Time World Series of Poker (WSOP) money leader Jamie Gold has signed on with Aced.com to be the face of the upstart franchise. Aced may have only been in business since September 2008 as a member of the Merge Gaming Network, but it already has become known for their great software and excellent promotions.
Gold was the winner of the 2006 WSOP main event. Since then, there has been much speculation as to if-and-when he would sign a sponsorship deal. The rumors can finally be put to rest. Industry sources say Gold’s multi-year deal is the most lucrative in history. Gold’s agent, Sean Fredericks said that over the years, Jamie turned down several offers.
“We have been careful and patient in waiting for the right deal,” said Fredericks.
Because of legal constraints, the details could not be released, but a source close to matter hinted that Gold’s contract could be worth more than eight figures.
The former WSOP Champ can now be found playing online in Aced.com’s poker room as well as proudly representing Aced in major US, European and Asian events.
