According to reports, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino President Andrew Kwasniewski was found dead in his Las Vegas home. It is believed that Kwasniewski took his own life.
Las Vegas police are saying that Mr. Kwasniewski died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. They said officers responded just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday to a report of a man dead of a gunshot wound at Kwasniewski’s home in the upscale Summerlin neighborhood.
The 56 year old Kwasniewski was an executive with more than thirty years of experience in the business. During his time at the Hard Rock, the hotel and casino underwent a nearly $1 billion transformation including expansion, hiring, and a new $60 million concert venue.
The Clark County coroner has ruled the death of top Hard Rock Hotel and Casino executive Andrew Kwasniewski was a suicide.
