As Ohio prepares to open casinos in late 2012, Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg Indiana gets ready to renovate and re-brand offerings.
The casinos parent company, Penn National Gaming, opened the $336 million venue eight months ago and plans to spend at least another $12 million on upgrades this year.
Upgrades are expected to continue through 2011, with the first changes coming next month.
Plans include the re-branding of “Bogart’s” to an expanded steakhouse “Final Cut” and a new bar and lounge the “H Bar” opening on April 3.
Later in April, a new 70s-80s nightlife offering will be opened called “Boogie Nights”. The club will be the first licensed expansion of the original Atlantic City nightclub.
On July 1st the casino will open a renovated and rebranded “Chart Room Sports Bar” into a mid priced restaurant called “Marquee café” and “Jonathan’s Deli” into a coffeehouse called “Hollywood & Grind”.
As upgrades to restaurants on the third level of the land based pavilion area, Hollywood will also expand the Hollywood theme off of its gambling boat onto the common areas to alter the look and ambiance of the facility.
