Another California Indian tribe has won a lawsuit challenging the states cap on slot machines.

A federal judge favored the San Diego County San Pasqual Indian tribe this week ruling that an additional 10,000 slot machines should have been allocated to various tribes throughout the state under the 1999 gaming compact.

An attorney for the Valley Center Casino said that the casino has already installed their share of the additional slot machines under a ruling made by a federal judge in Northern California last year.

This case was an appeal by the state and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said he would again appeal the court’s decision.

Last week a similar suit and ruling was made in favor of the Rincon Indian band tribe.
