On Wednesday, March 11th Jennifer Harman will be hosting a Charity Poker Tournament (CPT) to benefit the National Kidney Foundation (NKF). The CPT extravaganza at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada will also include a Vendor Faire with all proceeds going to the NKF.
Harman, along with a bevy of professional poker players, Olympic and X-Games athletes as well as NBA alumni will be in Reno as part of the event.
“The Grand Sierra Resort has been very supportive,” said Harman. “I’m excited to be returning to my hometown Reno in support of the local community and the National Kidney Foundation.”
The NKF is an organization that is near and dear to Harman’s heart. The two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner has battled kidney disease all her life. Having received two transplants in her life, she knows the importance of the NKF and is compelled to give back to those who need assistance.
The $200 plus $30 no-limit hold’em poker tournament will be open to the public, however space will be limited.
