A United States District Court judge in Baltimore signed an order allowing the federal government to seize nearly $10 million from a bank account associated with the internet gambling site Bodog.

The order forces Bodog Entertainment to forfeit $9.67 million of the $9.87 million from Nevada bank accounts because federal authorities found the money was obtained in violation of US law.

Bodog is one of the worlds largest online gambling sites. It gained notoriety and media attention in 2007 with prop bets like, whether Heather Mills would lose her prosthetic leg during the television show “Dancing with the Stars,” the Sopranos finale, and what Paris Hilton would say and wear on Larry King Live after she was release from a Los Angeles jail.

The US government is not the only one going after Bodog with legal actions. A Las Vegas software maker called 1st Technology is seeking to collect on a $46 million judgement it won against the company headquartered in Antigua and officially run from the Kahnawake Reserve Indian reservation in Quebec, Canada.
