Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie Pennsylvania is the next casino to go before the states seven member Gaming Control Board to seek approval to add gaming tables following the expanded gambling bill passed into law earlier this year.
The casino is asking for 48 table games including poker, blackjack and roulette to be added to its slot machines.
The hearing is scheduled for Thursday April 29, the board is expected to deliberate and reach a decision the same day.
The casino offers gamblers a variety of choices from penny slots to Virtual Blackjack, Three-Card Poker, & Roulette machines. This past week alone gamblers wagered $44.6 million on slot machines at the casino.
So far five casinos have petitioned for the games and all have won the approval of the board without any problems, said Richard McGarvey a spokesperson for the Board.
