International Game Technology has announced that an agreement with American Vending Sales (AVS) has been finalized to assist them in entering the Illinois video gaming market.
Under the new Illinois Video Gaming Act, Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) sold through a licensed distributor will be permitted in certain liquor establishments, truck stops and fraternal/veterans clubs in the state.
“IGT’s products can be found in every VGT market in the U.S. including Louisiana, Montana, Oregon, South Dakota and West Virginia,” said Eric Tom, executive vice president North America sales and global marketing for IGT. “We look forward to continuing this success through our partnership with AVS in Illinois. IGT’s experience and knowledge in these types of gaming markets paired with AVS’ deep understanding of Illinois is a win-win for everyone.”
Subject to jurisdiction approvals, IGT products available for this market will include video poker games including Double Double Bonus®, Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Triple Double Bonus™ and Bonus Poker®, video lineup themes will include Cleopatra®, Super 8 Race®, Wolf Run® and Texas Tea® and video blackjack games.
