Former Boston Celtics and 3-time NBA all-star Antoine Walker has been ordered to appear on felony charges alleging he failed to repay almost $1 million to three Las Vegas casinos.

The $1 million figure comes from gambling debts and penalties that Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and the Red Rock Resort claim Walker owes them after writing bad checks to settle-up.

A judge ordered Walker to appear for arraignment in June 30th in state court.

Walker filed bankruptcy last month, claiming $12.7 million in liabilities and $4.3 million in assets. Interestingly enough, one of the assets listed in his report is the 2006 NBA Championship ring that he won with the Miami Heat.

Last year, Walker agreed to repay a little over $900,000 in restitution, however, the 33-year old failed to do so.

Under Nevada law, unpaid makers (gambling debts) are treated like writing bad checks.

If convicted, Walker could face up to 12 years in jail.
