Gaming operations at the President Casino has been temporarily shut down for the third time this year due to rising flood waters on the Mississippi River.
Early Thursday morning Pinnacle Entertainment was forced to close the riverboat gaming facility as water and debris blocked the entrance.
The casino already struggling with falling revenue was also closed for 10 days in May and four days at the end of March because of high water blocking the entrance.
The St. Louis casino will reopen this week when waters recede and debris can be cleared, however the President will close permanently at the end of the month, when they surrender their gaming license as part of a settlement with the states gaming control board.
