International Game Technology has signed an extension of its contract with the University of Iceland Lottery for continuing collaboration between the University of Iceland Lottery and IGT through Oct 1, 2018.
Under the terms of the new contract IGT will provide 190 MLD® video slot games, install IGT Casinolink® as the casino management system and implement EZ Pay®
IGT began its partnership with the University in December 1993, when they were approved to operate Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) and use the revenues for the expansion and renovation of the University’s campus. At which time IGT installed the Megabucks® system as the central VLT server and delivered 250 IGT gaming terminals. Today, the University of Iceland Lottery operates 470 IGT gaming terminals located in approximately 40 locations.
The 190 new MLD® games will replace existing IGT Game King® 80960 machines and the IGT Casinolink® system will replace the current Megabucks® central system.
