Saturday night was a record-setting evening for a novice craps player at an Atlantic City casino.

Patricia Demauro of Denville, NJ set a new record for the longest craps roll. She hung on for four hours and 18 minutes at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

“This was only my second time playing craps,” Demauro said. “So this was very exciting for me to be a part of history.”

After 154 rolls of the dice, Demauro finally “sevened out” at 12:31AM. She beat the previous record by one hour and 12 minutes that was set almost twenty years ago in Las Vegas by Stanley Fujitake of Honolulu.

Fujitake held the dice for 3 hours and 6 minutes, 118 rolls at the California Hotel in Vegas.

Interestingly enough, Fujitake’s record setting roll also came on a Saturday night on Memorial Day Weekend.

Reportedly, Demauro bought into her game at the Borgata for $100, however, the casino would not disclose how much she won during her stretch at the table.
